In the beginning it was simply a dream - something personal, something historical, something that inspires our imagination and that demands our passion and profession to the greatest degree. Then this dream received a name: "Hotel Ritter Durbach". For you, we have implemented our ideas in order to breathe new life into an exceptional hotel.
TRADITION. ENCHANTING. MODERN.
The "Gasthaus Zum Ritter" was mentioned in an official document for the first time in the year of 1656. This stands for over 350 years of history and living hospitality. A tradition which obligates. We want to preserve tradition, but also revive it again. In the entire house - always as an arc of suspense to the modern - you will find testimonies of earlier times. The history and the people who shaped Ritter are omnipresent.
Enchanting Ritter should be, enchanted you shall be! Be delighted about the details, the people and the staff who care for your well-being at Ritter. Let yourself be pampered at all levels. Enjoy the special atmosphere of the hotel, the surrounding landscape, the good wine, the good food, and the diverse attractions that the new Ritter has to offer. Contemporary decor, paired with design and function, was the guideline, yet the highest priority lies in the sense of well-being: modern, but with warmth. Light but nevertheless comfortable the new Ritter should become, without denying its history. Another arc of suspense. We hope to have achieved this bridge between tradition and modern.
