From advance bookings to knowing your dress code:
Here are a few tips that will make your visit to the Ritter Spa even more enjoyable.
Drinks If you have booked a spa treatment, or are simply using our sauna area, please remember to drink enough water or fruit juice. In our spa complex we offer free tea so you can keep yourself hydrated.
Food Avoid starting a treatment directly after a meal or if you're hungry. We serve a variety of healthy snacks and fresh juice to enhance your Ritter Spa experience.
Clothing Feel at ease. Clothing that is easy to clean is recommended because of the creams and oils used during the treatments. We supply bath robes, flip-flops and towels, but you can also arrive at the spa wearing the bath robe from your room. It's best to not wear make-up during treatments. The sauna and steam room at the Ritter Spa are both nude areas, however you may wear your bathers if you wish. We ask that you to respect the other guests using the sauna and their clothing preferences. We also ask that you cover yourself in the corridors and relaxation rooms.
Please remove all jewellery and upper-body clothing during facial and body treatments. However, we require you to keep your underwear on - for some treatments, the therapist will provide you with a hygiene slip. During massages, the part of your body not receiving treatment will be covered by a sheet or towel.
Communication Talk to your therapist. They will ask you if require anything before and during the treatment. The music, the volume of the music, and the desired room temperature are just a few of the elements you can change to create a relaxing atmosphere that you feel comfortable in.
Take care In general, you should avoid the sun after your treatment. After receiving an exfoliating treatment or an oil massage you should not use a sun bed for at least 12 hours.
Appointments We recommend that you make an appointment before you arrive at the hotel so that we can better meet your needs. Of course, we will also do our best to accommodate any short notice requests you may have. Cancellations Last minute cancellations will unfortunately be charged at 80% of the treatment cost. However, if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance you will not be charged.
Pool and Fitness
Daily from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm
All saunas are open between 9.30 am and 10 pm
and we'll happily heat up your sauna of choice at any time, day or night.
Our saunas are available 24 hours a day.
Our spa treatments can be booked for the following times:
