What is included for hotel guests at the Ritter Spa, and what costs extra?
Use of our 1,200 m² Ritter Spa is included in the room rate for all hotel guests. This includes four saunas and steam rooms, the pool area with a swimming pool and hot tub, comfortable relaxation areas, the spa library and tea lounge, and the sun terrace. Our wide range of massages, beauty treatments, scrubs, baths and spa packages can be booked for an additional charge. What massages and treatments are on offer?
Our Ritter Spa will pamper you with a wide range of treatments: from classic partial and full-body massages with aromatic oils, through hot stone massages, Lomi Lomi Nui and foot reflexology, to scrubs and body wraps using our exclusive Vinoble wine-based skincare range. Beauty treatments such as the BIODROGA Black Forest treatment, manicures and pedicures, as well as special rituals for couples, expectant mothers or hikers, round off the range of services. What spa treatments are available for non-residents?
Our Ritter Spa warmly welcomes external guests to enjoy a wonderful day of wellness. From Monday to Friday, the entire spa facilities are available to you from 10.00 to 22.00 for EUR 46.0 per person; at weekends, from 12.00 to 22.00 for EUR 55.0 per person. If you’d like to round off your wellness day with a culinary treat, enjoy our breakfast and the four-course Makidan menu as part of our ‘Day Spa with Pampering’ package, starting from EUR 136.0. For a relaxing end to the working day, our ‘After-Work Spa’ is available from Monday to Friday from 17.00 for EUR 25.0. All treatments and massages can, of course, be booked as add-ons for an additional charge.
Do I need to book treatments in advance?
We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date. We will, of course, do our best to accommodate last-minute enquiries. Simply get in touch by email at spa@ritter-durbach.de or directly at the spa reception.
Are there any age restrictions at the Ritter Spa, and who is responsible for children?
Children are very welcome and may enjoy the pool area and the Ritter Spa when accompanied by their parents. For the protection of minors, the sauna area is open exclusively to guests aged 16 and over. Our treatments and massages are also available to adults only. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
What are the opening hours of the Ritter Spa?
The Ritter Spa is open daily at the following times: the sauna area from 10.00 to 22.00, treatments and massages from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm and the pool and fitness facilities from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm.
Is the sauna a nude sauna, and what are the rules regarding towels?
The saunas at Ritter Spa are nude. Swimwear must be worn in the pool area. Towels are available to borrow; we would appreciate it if you could use only as many towels as you really need, in keeping with our commitment to the environment.
If bathrobes and towels are included, are bathrobes available in special sizes?
Bathrobes and towels are available on loan during your stay; hotel guests will find these in the spa bag in their room. We have bathrobes available in all sizes from XXS to XXXL, so that you can feel completely at ease. Please make a note of your bathrobe’s identification number to avoid mix-ups after your sauna session.
What does the gym look like? What facilities are there?
In our fitness area, you’ll find the perfect space for your personal training sessions in a pleasant atmosphere. For cardio and light strength training, we have a treadmill, a total body trainer, an exercise bike and dumbbells available. The fitness area is open daily from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm. You’ll need trainers, sportswear and your own towel to use the facilities.
Are there any special spa packages for couples or special occasions?
Yes, our Ritter Spa offers wonderful packages for special occasions. The ‘VINOBLE for Two’ package treats you to a shared wine bath, a side-by-side full-body massage with aromatic oils and an eye treatment, including sparkling wine and chocolate-covered fruit. For couples and groups of friends, we also offer our ‘Romantic Time’ and ‘Girls’ Time’ packages. You can find all the details on our website under ‘Spa & Wellness’.
