Black Forest Winter Challenge

A bright red vintage Volvo with the starting number 18 drives along a snow-covered and icy road. The car has bright headlights and a Swiss licence plate. The road is lined with snow-covered fir trees and bare trees illuminated by the low sun. A circular logo with the words ‘RALLY LEGENDE WALTER RÖHRL ERPROBT’ and the image of a smiling man sitting in the car can be seen at the top right of the picture

Winter rally with culinary highlights

Classic car fans will get their money's worth when the Black Forest Winter Challenge kicks off for the sixth time in January. Numerous new stages, up to 1,200 metres and over 500 km will push the 60 vehicles and teams to their limits.

The special feature: as one of the few winter rallies, participants are required to complete regularity and skill tests in addition to target time and time trials. So there is always plenty of variety and driving fun is guaranteed. Culinary highlights and musical interludes round off the eventful days and promise an unforgettable event.

We look forward to seeing you and to four days of classic car enjoyment.

Three vintage rally cars are parked next to each other on a gravel car park. On the far left is a yellow VW Beetle with start number 26, next to it is a green Mini Cooper with start number 2 and to the right is a red Mini Cooper. All three cars have additional rally headlights. Gentle hills, trees and a clear skyline can be seen in the background.

Environmental package

To drive climate-neutrally at the SWC, there is the environmental package, which supports our valuable and sustainable environmental project: At the end of the day, a rally produces particulate matter and CO2. We offer sustainable compensation in cooperation with our partner and initiator Forst BW as well as with the Albert-Schweitzer-Schule Kehl and a 50-hectare learning forest in Hesselhurst, which we created together with the school. We sensitise children in need of support and also the participants to the topics of climate and forest. To this end, we are building a nature classroom, planting mushroom cultures and tree nurseries and creating habitats for insects and animals.

Our sponsors

Such a professional rally with all its advantages would hardly be possible without strong partners at your side. Here you will find all our sponsors, most of whom have been supporting the Black Forest Winter Challenge with their heart and soul for many years.
